Requirements

We recently completed a fresh new WordPress website design for The Scottish Association of Young Farmers (SAYFC.) The goals of the new website were to upgrade from an existing CMS platform that was heavily outdated. Creating a new eye catching design that better reflected the organisation. While also allowing for an intuitive user friendly experience for all website users. As well as the Young Farmers committee team members who are regularly uploading content to the admin area of the site.

The website was designed on WordPress, our CMS platform of choice here at Primal Space. Selected for it’s easy to use interface, and highly customisable system. Allowing for various plugins to be performing a multitude of tasks seamlessly. The design also includes some WooCommerce integration for a small array of products in their website shop. While accommodating a vast catalogue of blog posts, that were imported from the existing site.

Relevant call to actions are present throughout the design, prompting the user to either become a member or get in touch to enquire about membership. As well as directing users to attend an upcoming event, all of which are displayed within an onsite calendar system, driven in WordPress. Social media integration is also used throughout the site for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, allowing the organisations users to stay connected and up to date on site. As well as increasing social followers and user engagement.
