Requirements

In 2017 we created this fun but functional website for Scottish tour company The Hairy Coo. Who offer exciting tours and day trips throughout Scotland. This fully responsive design built on WordPress features large images and a bright, colourful palette.

User experience was extremely important throughout the site. As we knew the website was likely to be used by many people from across the globe visiting Scotland on their holidays. As a result, we wanted the information they needed to be accessible easily. While an integrated booking system, along with a contact form, were also key features of the design. Google map functions, were also utilised, therefore making the website more interactive.

Primal Space recently re-developed the Hairy Coo tour company website design in 2019 to fit in with their new brand image. The redevelopment project on WordPress was to enhance the functions that were already in place while making the website much more engaging and interactive for the user. Relevant call to actions were used throughout. Along with strategic internal linking, allowing the number of clicks to be minimised taking the user to where they want to be quickly and allowing them to check out with ease. Social integration was also a key feature of the new site. While more detailed tour pages were also included within the design. As a result, giving the user all the information they need to complete their purchase and book.
