Requirements

Our team were recently tasked with helping Tasty Basket bring their vision and ideas of to life. To create an online supermarket experience, providing fresh local produce from the best suppliers and delivering it direct to customers doors. The website was to be driven by WordPress housing hundreds of products in a diverse range of categories from a large number of brands from around Edinburgh. Providing customers with exceptional quality while supporting local businesses. Something that’s never been more important during these testing times of a global pandemic.

The website itself was to be clean, functional and user friendly. Enabling customers to filter through vast array of products. Selecting their groceries with ease and completing their transaction hassle free. Meanwhile incorporating a delivery date and slot picker function, defined by certain postcodes in Edinburgh city centre. This was a was a key part of the design.

Alongside the all important functionality, the Tasty Basket website design was to be engaging with call to actions present throughout and showcase the brands ethos.

Both ourselves and the client are delighted with the completed design. We anticipate that Tasty Basket will be hugely successful, not only supporting the local community through fresh food deliveries. But also supporting local businesses, helping them get their products in to the hands of a wider customer base. We continue to provide website hosting and support to this client ongoing.
