Requirements

Ransacked Black Oven are a Middle Eastern inspired restaurant in Edinburgh with street food style dishes taking influence from across the globe. The client approached Primal Space in late 2019 looking for a website that would reflect their food and provide the ability for customers to view their various menus and book through a contact form.

We launched the Ransacked Black Oven website design in January 2020. Built on WordPress it provides a user friendly experience that reflects the business well. While built on a platform that allows the client to easily update the websites content themselves ongoing.

The homepage features an engaging full width image above the fold, as well as a ‘Book Now’ button. Therefore allowing the user to easily navigate around the site with ease. A header area allows them to choose from a variety of options including a food gallery which is pulled from an Instagram feed. As a result ensuring that fresh content is added to the website regularly from the restaurants social pages. Facebook and Twitter links are also included.

The website includes a a menu page which displays several PDF menus upon click which can be updated seasonally or as required. Therefore allowing the customer to plan their meal before they arrive. A fully GDPR compliant contact form is also included within the design, allowing the user to send an enquiry or reservation. While click to call buttons are also included allowing customers to make a booking with ease from a smart phone or mobile device.

The website is fully responsive, loading seamlessly across all browsers. While Google Maps integration also forms a key part of the design.

We continue to provide Ransacked Black Oven with monthly website hosting. As well as providing WordPress website support ongoing.
