We recently completed a website design for Mackenzie Bags. The Edinburgh based brand was looking for a high-end design to showcase their luxury leather goods. And allow their clients to purchase online. The website had to accommodate many colour variations and add ons to customise each of their unique, handmade leather bags. This meant that a lot of custom development and functionality had to be created from scratch within the product pages. We opted to build the website using the WordPress WooCommerce platform. Allowing a user-friendly interface that could be updated easily by the client on-going.

One of the core aims was to increase conversions. Achieved by simplifying the checkout process and funnelling the user to purchase quicker. Using Stripe and Paypal integration for secure, fast payment. The website also includes Google Maps integration, a contact form and social media internal linking. As well as a blog and gallery area. While also being fully optimised throughout to improve loading speeds. Primal Space implemented various SEO techniques to ensure that the website ranked high on UK search engines to improve traffic to the site.
