What Have We Done So Far?

Over the years we’ve integrated sustainability practices into every aspect of our business. While encouraging those we work with to do the same. Our Sustainability Policy guides our efforts to integrate eco-friendly practices throughout our operations. This includes optimising energy usage through efficient equipment and smart technologies, utilising 100% renewable energy sources. And actively reducing waste through recycling.

Since launching we’ve always operated as a fully remote working business. Utilising modern technology to connect with our clients and partners to reduce the commute. For essential travel, we use electric vehicles to minimise our carbon footprint.

As well as this we prioritise eco-friendly products and services, supporting charities and sustainable organisations. Our commitment to continuous improvement involves regularly assessing and setting measurable targets for environmental impact. While fostering a culture of engagement and responsibility among our team members. Through our Green Mission, Primal Space aims to lead by example. Inspiring positive change in our industry and contributing to a more sustainable world.

The Road to Becoming Carbon-Negative

Our commitment doesn’t stop at carbon neutrality. We are proud to announce our ambitious goal to become carbon-negative by 2024. This means that we are actively exploring and implementing innovative strategies to not only minimise our carbon footprint but also to offset more than we produce.

Exploring Reforestation Initiatives

One of the key strategies we are pursuing is reforestation. Trees are nature’s carbon sequesters, and by investing in reforestation initiatives, we aim to capture more carbon dioxide than our operations release. Planting trees not only helps mitigate climate change but also contributes to biodiversity and creates healthier ecosystems.

We’ll be partnering with Ecologi to support us with reforestation and carbon reduction projects. Users can subscribe to the Ecologi service to track and reduce their carbon emissions, support environmental initiatives, and participate in collective efforts to combat climate change.

Carbon Offsetting Initiatives

Primal Space is committed to supporting verified carbon offset projects. These initiatives go beyond merely balancing our carbon emissions; they actively contribute to positive environmental and social impacts. Carbon offsetting involves compensating for your own carbon emissions by investing in projects or activities that reduce or remove an equivalent amount of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.

We’ll be looking for a reliable carbon offset provider or platform that is transparent about their projects, has third-party certifications, and adheres to recognised standards. We’ll be sure to update you on who we decide to partner with in the hope that your business can also do the same. We believe that every emission must be accounted for and offset responsibly to create a lasting positive change.
