in partnership with A Way Home Scotland
Recently we completed this WordPress website design for Rock Trust. Who are a coalition to end youth homelessness, working in partnership with A Way Home Scotland. The charity were looking for a website to act as a resource, showcasing the work that they carry out. While also having an area within the website were they could publish research reports and policy submissions. We helped them meet these goals and expectations by providing a functional and visually attractive design that met all of the clients criteria.
Starting out, we created a few mock ups of homepage designs to allow our client to choose which they’d like us to further develop. From here, we worked through the other pages, displaying the content that the client had provided us with in a visually appealing way. Constantly considering the users journey and experience when using the site.
Call to action buttons are used to allow the user to navigate between the various pages of the site, locating the information they require with ease. Meanwhile gathering a clear understanding of the collectives mission and values as they journey around the site.
The website development includes various functions including a contact form, social media integration for Twitter and Instagram. As well as connecting to various external resources and guidance tools via the resource library. A partners gallery is also included within the design to showcase the diverse range of partners within the Rock Trust community. Meanwhile the blog area has been added as a way for the clients to share news and information regularly with their partners and community of the excellent work they are providing to tackle youth homelessness in Scotland. As the website development is built on WordPress, with a user friendly admin area, it allows the client to be able to update the content themselves continuously ongoing.
We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this project and working alongside the charity to create this WordPress website design. We hope the site will continue to provide a valuable resource for the organisation for many years to come.
